Marriage with fluency in two languages
On December 27th, 2024, interpretation was carried out for an international marriage between a Chilean, and a British subject who doesn’t speak Spanish at the Civil Registry located in the city of Puerto Varas, thanks to the presence of an English-Spanish interpreter named Paul Graves, who was in charge of transmitting the message to the guests, and due to the amazing job done, the marriage went well. A very important matter for the Civil Registry is that the two individuals involved getting married must comprehend the ceremony and the documents they are signing. Paul was at the signing ceremony and the Civil ceremony, and both were carried out on the same day. Regardless of the differences in the language, the ceremony went well. This allowed those present to enjoy the small and reserved celebration of the couple, whom we wish all the best in this new chapter in their lives.
