Interpretation at Minera Escondida
Being an interpreter not only implies having full knowledge of the languages and cultures of those involved in the interpretation, it is also necessary to consider that many of these jobs are on-site. On this occasion, our interpreter Antonia Pérez provided consecutive English-Spanish interpreting for a technician from the Netherlands hired by our client (a company specialising in mining transmissions with several years of experience in the market) to install mining machinery. For this, Antonia had to undergo an altitude test, as this meeting took place at Minera Escondida. The professionalism and talent of our interpreter allowed this meeting to take place without the language barrier being a problem and, as a result, our client was able to have the machinery he needed to be installed without any inconvenience.
