Interpretating for OECD
The Chilean Government and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) recently partnered with GRATO to provide interpretation services for their webinars on Chilean tax reform. The work done by experienced interpreters from GRATO assured that the presentations of David Bradbury (OECD Deputy Director), Bert Brys (Head of Country Tax Policy Unit), and Jón R. Blöndal (Head of Division and Editor-in-chief of the OECD Journal on Budgeting) were understood by all participants and attendees, regardless of their linguistic background. This partnership between GRATO, the Chilean government, and the OECD demonstrates how important interpretation services are in international collaborations. It also highlights how technology can help bridge language gaps and make communication more efficient.
