Simultaneous interpretation in OGN FIMA conversation
In March this year, OGN FIMA organised a conversation called “Climate Defence: Legal keys from Latin America and the Caribbean”, which aims to talk about the legal instruments available in different Latin American and Caribbean countries the climate defence, all of this within the context of the Escazú Agreement, an international treaty that seeks to strengthen environmental democracy in the places previously mentioned. This interesting conversation, in which diverse experiences of participants from Granada, Argentina, Chile, and Colombia were shared, featured the participation of our interpreters Daniela Barraza and Francisca Castro, who helped to ensured that everyone in the audience, both English and Spanish speaking, could understand the conversation in a fluid way.
