An interpreter helps out with a doctor’s appointment
On February 11th, our amazing professional, Daniela Díaz, helped out with an important doctor’s appointment fluently and clearly through consecutive interpretation on Zoom. Our client made an appointment with an American doctor who is an expert in scaphocephaly. This is a congenital malformation in the skull, which consists of a narrow, tall, and long head. It has the shape of a keel or a wedge. The client’s child is only three months old and has a bump in the occipital part. Consequently, the baby needed the services of a foreign doctor. Our client does not speak English, so the work of our interpreter, Daniela Diaz, was essential to the appointment. This appointment was held to treat the child with moldings and postures to ensure that the baby does not need surgery in the future. We wish them good luck with their treatment and are thankful for their trust!
