Interpreting seminar on stroke sequelae
The Universidad de Chile held, via Zoom, the ‘Seminar Dysphagia in people with stroke sequelae: Update and New Perspectives’, where GRATO interpreters, Javiera Marileo and Daniela Barraza, were in charge of providing simultaneous interpretation from English to Spanish for the event, allowing for the language difference to not be an impediment to learning about this important subject, as strokes unfortunately affect many people around the world and can lead to physical, emotional and cognitive consequences. At GRATO we are very happy to be part of these talks where it is essential for listeners to understand all the information accurately.
