Space Innovation in Chile: Simultaneous Interpretation at the SAR Workshop on Synthetic Aperture Radar
The Colegio de Ingenieros de Chile A.G. recently served as the venue for a prominent event that brought together experts in space technology: the SAR Workshop “Exploring the Potential of Synthetic Aperture Radar”, organised by the Chilean Air Force and Colegio de Ingenieros. On 12th and 13th September, this event provided a platform for professionals in the space sector to share their knowledge about how synthetic aperture radar (SAR) can revolutionise our understanding and monitoring of our planet. During the event, GRATO interpreters Daniela Barraza and Francisca Castro provided remote simultaneous interpretation services for the attendees through our partner LiveVoice, enabling correct communication between the speakers. Such events not only promote the exchange of ideas and experiences between industry professionals, but also mark a milestone in space innovation in Chile, contributing to technological and scientific development.
