Interpretation of live event carried out by the International Accounting Standards Board (English-Spanish)
The International Accounting Standards Board, also known as the IASB, invited many universities to their world-wide online talk in May. Among these universities was Universidad Católica del Maule, whose students were able to interact with the members of the board, ask questions, and get to know the objectives of the organization. With the purpose of easing the communication process between speakers of the English languages and the non-English-speaking audience, Daniela Barraza and Julio Román provided their services as interpreters. With their expertise, they successfully transferred the content of this talk to the Spanish language via LiveVoice, a live audio transmitting app.
