Simultaneous interpretation for Workshop on Climate Change
The “Latin American Workshop for Advisory Opinions on Climate Change” took place during May 6th and 7th, an event organized by the Law Department of University of Chile as well as other entities such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the ONG FIMA organization. The purpose of this workshop, carried out in the Matilde Brandau room, was to look at climate change through both a legal and technical lens. It was thanks to the outstanding work from interpreters Francisca Castro and Julio Román, who transferred this workshop from the English language to Spanish, that the audience was made aware of this valuable information. This event was transmitted through LiveVoice, an audio transmitting app, with the assistance of Paulina.
