Interpretation of medical talk by Brazilian doctor
At GRATO we offer interpreting services in different languages, either in person, on site or remotely. On this occasion, different events were held in 3 locations in Santiago, where the Brazilian doctor and creator of the Evaluation of Pressure Injury Prevention (ELPO) scale and associate professor at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Camila Mendoça, spoke about pressure injuries and advanced wound management, where our interpreter, Javier Gúmera, was in charge of interpreting these talks, allowing attendees to fully participate in the conferences regardless of their mother tongue. Not only does this enhance the overall experience of learning about different topics in the field of medicine, but interpreting at lectures with international speakers also fosters inclusion and intercultural exchange.
