GRATO

Interpreting at a Judicial Branch conference

Grato was honoured to be present at the important Judicial Branch discussion which analysed how the precedent model works in the Supreme Court of the United States in various cases and instances, and the differences with the Chilean system were also accurately described given the federal structure of the Judiciary in the North American country. The speakers at this event were Michael D. Green, an academic from Washington University and Mark Geistfeld, a professor at NYU Law School, who were also given a tour of the court house. At GRATO we are more than proud that our interpreter, Julio Román, accompanied the professors in their activities at this event and fulfilled exceptionally the task of conveying the message they wanted to portray.
