Interpretating for an important mining company
Daniela
Barraza and Carla Escárate, GRATO interpreters, recently completed a 7-day
interpretation project at an important mining company. This was a challenging
task that required them to interpret various conversations between the workers
and their supervisors. They worked tirelessly to ensure that all conversations
were accurately interpreted, even when there were language barriers. This is
just one example of how professional interpreters are playing an increasingly
important role in our society today. Not only do they help bridge language
barriers, but they also help facilitate communication between people from
different cultures and backgrounds. As our world becomes more globalised,
interpreters will become even more essential in helping us understand each
other.
